Electricity from your co-op makes life more convenient in a lot of ways. Why should paying your bill be different? Farmers makes it easy to manage your account with handy online tools and a full array of convenient ways to pay. It's another way to exercise your personal power.

Online Payment

Login Create a New Account

To sign up for FREE online bill pay, start by creating your profile using your account number. Each payment will be posted to your account within one business day.

Your online account lets you do all of this:

  • View your current bill and account history
  • Submit changes of address, telephone, social security number, or other personal information
  • Use your Discover, MasterCard or Visa to pay your bill
  • Write an "Electronic Check" to pay your bill online. Just fill in the blanks using your printed check as a guide. We do the rest!

 

Pay Now

SmartHub - PayNow
No registration is required. Just use your billing account number and your last name or the name of your business to pay your bill quickly and easily. Please note that Pay Now only allows you to pay your bill. Unlike the full SmartHub site, you cannot view your usage or report an outage.

Auto Bill Pay

Save time and avoid the hassle of writing a monthly check with our FREE automatic bill payment plan.

Sign up now, and the amount of your bill will be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account by the due date. NOTE: Your first payment will be drafted from your account after you receive your first bill noting you are signed up for automatic payment.

You will still receive a monthly statement about 12 days prior to your scheduled bank draft. Some restrictions may apply. To sign up for bank draft, please print the appropriate form below, complete the application, then mail it, fax it to
903 453 0784, or bring it to one of our offices along with a blank voided check.

Setting up Credit Card and Monthly Recurring Payments
You can pay your electric bill using your credit or debit card. This can be paid by you each month or set up for automatic, recurring payments each month.

To sign up for a recurring credit/debit ­card payment, simply log into your Smart Hub account and set up a recurring credit/debit payment. NOTE: Members are responsible for updating ­card information, including the expiration date.

Pay by Phone

Payment over the phone can be made by check or credit card 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and it's free. Call 1 877 495 6841 to begin.

If your service is suspended, paying by phone is the quickest and easiest way to get your service restored promptly. Phone payments must be made by credit or debit card to restore suspended service. Once you make your payment to get your service restored, call 903 453 0749 to confirm your payment.

Pay Stations

To make paying your energy bill more convenient, we have authorized MoneyGram Express Pay and Fidelity Express to accept payments. Now you can pay your bill while running errands and have the payment credited to your account the same day.

MoneyGram Express Pay
For many MoneyGram locations, including Wal-Mart, you will compete a blue ExpressPayment form with the following information:

  • Account Number: Your Farmers EC account number
  • Company Name: Farmers Electric Cooperative
  • City/State: Greenville, TX

At other MoneyGram Express Pay locations. Including CVS/pharmacy, please follow these steps:

  • Pick up the red MoneyGram phone – it will auto dial MoneyGram Customer Service
  • When prompted for the transaction type, select Pay a Bill from the menu list
  • Enter your telephone number

You will then be connected to a live MoneyGram agent who will ask you to confirm your telephone number, name, address, account number, the amount of your payment, and the Farmers EC Receiver Code of 7478.

(MoneyGram Receiver Code ensures payee a $1.50 transaction fee and ensures payment is able to post within 15 minutes of payment. Not using the Receiver Code can result in a higher transaction fee and can delay our receipt/knowledge of the payment by up to 3 days.)

You will need to write down the information from the MoneyGram agent and take it to the cashier who will collect the cash, the MoneyGram service fee, and complete the payment.

Note: If you are paying late and it is after the due date on our Termination Notice, please call 903 455 1715 with your MoneyGram confirmation number.

Fidelity Express
When using Fidelity Express, will need to take your bill stub to the clerk. The clerk will image the stub when you make your payment and return it to you with your proof of payment receipt. Please keep the validated receipt in case verification is necessary. Payments made between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. will be updated every 15 minutes. Fidelity Express accepts cash, check or money order. Fidelity Express charges a fee of $1.50 for this service.

Note: If you are paying late and it is after the due date on our Termination Notice, please call 903 455 1715 with your Fidelity Express Proof of Payment number.

Payment Locations

You can stop by any of our three offices to drop off your payment—inside, at the drive-through window, or outside office hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays) in the drop box. Payments placed in the drop box will be posted the next business day.

Payment Assistance

At Farmers Electric Cooperative, we understand that unexpected circumstances or expenses may come your way. If you are experiencing financial hardship, we will work with local agencies and charitable organizations that can help you get assistance with payments.

1. Please notify our office before the termination notice due date listed on your bill to check your eligibility for a payment plan.

PowerUp Pre-Paid Account

Pay ahead for power and monitor your account online to keep track of how much you’ve used. Add more money to your account whenever it's needed.

What is PowerUp?
PowerUp is a pay-as-you-go program that lets you decide how much and how often they pay.

How does the plan work?
It's kind of like a parking meter. You pay for electric service in advance. As energy is used, your account balance goes down until you make another payment. You are free to pay as much or as often as you wish, as long as there's enough money in your account to cover the power you're using. If your account runs out of money, your power will go off until you can pay more.

How do I monitor my account?
You can choose to get low balances, daily balance, service interruption, and reconnection notices by phone and/ or e-mail. You also can check daily account balances or make payments by calling 888 800 0821 or visiting www.myusage.com. You will not receive monthly statement or termination notices.

What does it cost?
If you're new to Farmers, you'll pay the cooperative application fee of $10, a membership fee of $20, an initial setup fee of $15, and at least $35 payment to your account. No additional security deposit will be required. If you're already a member, you'll pay a $15 initial setup fee and at least a $35 payment to your account.

Average out your annual usage so you know what to expect with each month's bill. Farmers’ Budget Billing program lets you avoid seasonal spikes and smooth out the highs and lows that come with the coldest days of winter and the hottest days of summer.

We'll calculate an average using the last 11 months plus your current month's bill. You simply pay the average amount each month. Contact us today at 903 455 1715, and take control with Budget Billing.
